And so it begins…I have been talking about starting a blog for many months now and I have finally chosen a host and decided to begin. I hope to use this to keep in touch with many of you who support our ministry as we change from local church staff to active duty Army Chaplaincy.
Right now I have to finish one summer class and have already begun two of the five fall courses that will complete my Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. I have enjoyed most of the courses in this degree but I’m looking forward to finishing in order to move on to chaplaincy.
I had an interview with a colonel @ Fort Hood this past week. This is the last item that I needed to complete my “packet” for the selection board which meets on the 19th of this month. Hopefully, I will receive a call on the 20th to confirm my selection.
